Jeffrey is also a skilled legal researcher and writer.
Jeffrey’s background both in business and law allows him to represent these clients well. Prior to joining Skipper Law, Jeffrey handled a variety of matters for Legal Aid. He also assisted clients at The Law Office of Emmett B. Irwin, and in the Community Development Clinic at the University of Baltimore School of Law.
Before attending law school, Jeffrey owned, sold, and managed various businesses in Maryland and Arizona. He later worked at a homeless resource center in Annapolis, Maryland. His business experience coupled with his compassion and desire to see justice realized led him to law school, and ultimately, to Skipper Law.
Jeffrey attended the University of Baltimore School of Law where he was a member of the Royal Shannonhouse Honor Society and graduated Summa Cum Laude. At Maryland Legal Aid, he was awarded the Diane Kinslow Award, an award given to an advocate with less than 5 years of experience, who “best exemplifies and demonstrates the qualities of courage, compassion, and love in the provision of legal services to the clients of Maryland Legal Aid.”
Jeffrey and his wife, Belle, live in Annapolis with their German shorthaired pointer, Sal. He enjoys making pizza, reading, writing, and fellowshipping at coffee shops, along with softball and quiet evenings with his wife.
